Bryant Gumbel and Chris Collinsworth
Putting Bryant Gumbel next to Chris Collinsworth is like putting Ryan Leaf with Jerry Rice. No matter how amazing the complementary guy is, if the QB sucks, the game isn't won.

Green Bay at Dallas- BG Idiot quotes
I didn't get to watch the whole game, but the small part I saw had:
(when a Dallas player made a great special teams tackle toward the end of the game)
"He just got baptized" What? He got baptized? Where does that come from? He got drenched in water? He got dunked in water? No, he got his head ripped off by a Dallas special teams player who gets a ton of credit for playing that hard even when the game was in the bag. If that's how Gumbel got baptized, I don't want to know what the hell kind of church he belongs to.
Although getting hit hard on the head during his baptism ritual might explain why Gumbel was looking to see if they could interview "Rick Romo" after the game. What an idiot.

Bryant Gumbel is the Worst Commentator Ever
I'm not sure how many people have been watching the NFL Network football coverage on Thursdays, but I can tell you, the one certainty of those broadcasts is that Bryant Gumbel is the single worst football commentator anywhere.
Last season, it seemed that he didn't know or understand the rules of football with his quotes saying that teams that didn't convert on a third down had "turned it over on downs." No, dumbass, turning it over on downs means that they attempted a fourth down conversion and failed.
To those who do not love football, this probably seems like a minor offense, but to the rest of us it is highly insulting and deserving of ridicule.
He did it again tonight for the Packers/Cowboys game. I will try to track the quotes and report them on this blog so that everyone can appreciate the full lameness of Bryant Gumbel.
